On 12-15 April 2009, Guenael Mettraux took part as an expert in an international conference “Crimes against Humanity Initiative” in St-Louis (Missouri). The conference was attended by numerous experts in the field and was organized by Professor Bassiouni and Professor Sadat of the Washington University School of Law.
In February 2009, Mr Mettraux provided a consultancy paper at the request of the Registry of the International Criminal Court regarding the issue of “intermediaries” in the context of ICC proceedings.
From 16 to 20 February 2009, Mr. Mettraux will be teaching a week-long course in international criminal law and international criminal justice at the Riga Graduate Law Institute in Riga, Latvia.
