Deirdre Montgomery:
Deirdre Montgomery has worked with Counsel representing Accused at the ICTY since 2005. She began her work as Legal Assistant to Steven Kay QC and Gillian Higgins on the trial of Slobodan Milosević. She has also worked as Legal Assistant on the trials of The Prosecutor v Popović et al (Milorad Trbić) for Colleen Rohan and The Prosecutor v. Milutinović et al (Milan Milutinović), for Counsel for the former President of the Republic of Serbia. Currently, she is working as Legal Assistant on the trial of The Prosecutor v. Perišić for Gregor Guy-Smith, and as Legal Assistant for the Defence Team of Mićo Stanišić, in The Prosecutor v. Stanišić & Župljanin. She is also admitted to the List of Legal Officers to Defence Counsel at the Special Tribunal for Lebanon.
She is an Attorney at Law (NY), and holds an LLM in International Human Rights Law from The Irish Centre for Human Rights, NUI Galway, Ireland, and an LLB in Law and European Studies from the University of Limerick, Ireland.
Cathy Mac Daid:
Cathy Mac Daid has worked with Counsel representing Accused at the ICTY since 2005. She began her work as Legal Assistant to Steven Kay QC and Gillian Higgins on the trial of Slobodan Milosević. She has also worked as Legal Assistant on the trials of The Prosecutor v Popović et al (Milorad Trbić) for Colleen Rohan and The Prosecutor v Milutinović et al (General Nebojsa Pavković), the former Third Army Commander of the Yugoslav Army (VJ).
She holds a Crossborder LLM in Human Rights Law and Criminal Justice from The Irish Centre for Human Rights, NUI Galway, Ireland and Queens University Belfast.
Aurélie G.Roche has worked with Counsel representing Accused at the ICTY and the ICC since 2006 after clerkships at the ICC, IBA and SCSL. She has worked as a Legal Assistant in the trial of The Prosecutor v. Haradinaj et al. (Idriz Balaj) for Gregor Guy-Smith and Colleen Rohan. She has since joined a defence team at the ICC in the case of The Prosecutor v. Katanga & Ngudjolo.
She has also been lecturing international law at The Hague University since 2008.
She holds an LLM in International Criminal Justice from the University of Nottingham.
She manages the ‘Archive Library Project’ of the ICLB with Elli Goetz.
Elisabeth Goetz :
Elisabeth Goetz has worked with Counsel representing Accused at the ICTY since 2006 after a clerkship at the European Training and Research Centre for Human Rights and Democracy. She is currently working as a Legal Assistant on the trial of The Prosecutor v. Prlić et al, assisting Counsel defending Jadranko Prlić, the former President of the Croatian Community of Herceg-Bosna and Prime Minister of the Croatian Republic of Herceg-Bosna.
